- Growth mindset will be great for innovation plan. I will be incorporating an online discussion forum. Personally, I hate online discussions because they can seem overwhelming when there is a lot of content presented. I work with 7th and 8th grades students who are in a program to help them get ready for college. Since weekly discussion are the common enemy of all of my online classes, I figured this would be a great to prepare my students to begin to have meaningful conversations with their peers voicing their opinion, concerns, and revelations on certain topics.
- Focusing on the learning and creating significant learning will influence my innovation plan by making me look down the road and see what I want my students to learn and gain from the incorporation of an online element. It forced me to backwards design, think critically, analyze my assessment methods, evalute the process that was used, and execute my plan. This course gives you the opportunity to build your dream classroom, then takes you through steps of properly building and creating a solid foundation.
